1 pound flank steak 
1 small loaf of french or italian country bread-- sliced
2 cups assorted cherry tomatoes -- cut in half
2 cups baby arugula
1/4 cup Parmigiano Cheese- thinly shaved slices
1 teasp. salt -- to taste
1 teasp. pepper -- to taste use fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup thatsanice "bacio" "kiss of garlic" spread
3/4  cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3  cup balsamic vinegar
to prepare:
-spread bacio on all sides of steak, season with salt and pepper.
-in frying pan or grill, add 2 tablespoon of olive oil and sizzle steak,
 turning about 2 to 4 times each side for medium rare, depending on the
 thickness of the steak.
-remove steaks to a cutting board, cover with foil and let rest.
-slice the bread about 1/3 inch thick. spread bacio on the one side. 
-place in oven and broil until golden brown, slightly  crispy.
-slice the cherry tomatoes in half.
-in a bowl mix tomatoes and arugula with about 1/3 cup olive oil and 1/3
 cup balsamic  vinegar.
-slice the steak on an angle, against the grain, about 1/4 inch thick.
-place 1 or 2 slices of bread on each plate. 
-drizzle bread with about 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
-top bread with slices of steak.
-place 1/2 cup of arugula mixture on the steak and around on plate.
-with a vegetable peeler, shave some cheese onto the arugula.
-drizzle with remaining olive oil and grind fresh black pepper over all.

 
serving ideas: 
follow it with a dessert of fruit, sorbet and cookies or even a nice liquor in a frozen short glass.
