Thats A Nice! wins Bronze Medal at 2011 World-Wide Mustard Competition

Los Angeles CA (June, 2011) – Thats A Nice! SICILIAN OLIVE MUSTARD won the Bronze Medal in the Herb/Veggie Category at the 2011 World-Wide Mustard Competition. The international contest, formally held in conjunction with the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, is now its own event, sponsored by the world’s only National Mustard Museum, a nonprofit organization, recently relocated to Middleton, Wisconsin.

Museum Curator and Founder, Barry Levenson, who serves as the Coordinating Judge for the mustard industry’s biggest competition, said, “The judges raved about the Sicilian Olive Mustard. Best of all, though, our staff raves about it and makes sure everyone who comes to the Mustard Museum gets a chance to taste it. Bravissimo!"

The Medals, in 18 Award categories, were announced at a spirited fundraising campaign on April 29 “An Evening of Mustard Royalty.” The event also featured an Iron Mustard Chefs Challenge, music by Quartessence, and magic and mirth by the Duchess of Mustard. Coincidentally, April 29 was also the date of the Royal Wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William. Says Levenson, “I hate to snub the Royal Family but I’ll have to miss the nuptials. As much as I treasure my friendship with Kate, the Middleton I love most is right here in Wisconsin.”

“We were very honored to receive this medal in such an exciting competition” noted Joseph A. Lo Bue, founder and President of Thats A Nice! VP Anthony J. Marciona added “We are proud to be getting recognition from the food community each year, of our unique products with a healthy take on old world recipes.”
