Thats A Nice! gourmet food to his hometown
adding Pelham to its roster of New York Gourmet markets
Pelham NY - Thats A Nice!, a line
of specialty gourmet southern italian foods, is now available in
DeCicco's Markets in Pelham, the home town of company executive, Anthony
Marciona.
Anthony grew up in Pelham, attended Colonial School and later Pelham
Memorial High School, graduating in 1979. He had a very full
acting career during school, appearing on Broadway, film and TV. After
college, he moved to Hollywood to continue his acting career, as well as
pursue a career as a producer and entrepreneur. With an active
career in show business, Anthony joined forces with Thats A Nice!
President and founder Joseph LoBue. Together, the team developed
various products, a design concept and creative Brand ideas, as well as
internet marketing, creating the website as a tool between internet
commerce and retail shopping. Using recipes first created in the
LoBue family's famous
restaurant that introduced Italian food to Louisiana in 1952, the
company quickly garnered numerous awards. After rapid growth in
gourmet markets from Beverly Hills to New York City, Thats A Nice! is a
Gourmet Brand on the rise, being featured in over 70 Top Gourmet Retail
Stores nationwide. The company made its east coast debut at the
Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC in July. It is a personal
accomplishment for Anthony
to have this company's presence in his own hometown.
Anthony's parents, sister and nieces live in the Pelhamwood section of
town.
Known for its gourmet flavor, creative packaging, online recipes, and
retail links, Thats A Nice! helps consumers become instant chefs and
cook the southern italian way. Consumers are able to go online and
see recipes and other suggestions for products, as well as find retail
stores where products may be purchased. "olivetta"-sicilian
olive mix,
is the company's leading product. Not to be confused with
tapenades or giardineras, "olivetta" is a version of the
olive mixture used for the specialty sandwich called the Muffaletta,
developed by Sicilian immigrants at the turn of the century. the
mix is perfect for salads, a great compliment to sandwiches and makes a
perfect topping for appetizers. Recently launched and gaining
consumer praise is the newest product "bacio", which means
kiss in Italian. This Sicilian "kiss of garlic" spread
is a unique all natural whipped garlic spread, excellent for grilling
seafood and meats, sauteing vegetables, mixing with pasta, and
especially to make garlic bread with a true Sicilian taste that is
"to die for"! Other Thats A Nice! products available in
town include: the award-winning "sugo"-sicilian marinara
sauce, "sugo BOOM"-spicy sicilian pasta sauce, "sugo
VEGGIE"-sautéd mushroom-asparagus pasta sauce and "primi
piatti"-first course in premium gourmet pasta. Thats A Nice!
also makes gift baskets: the "mangia bowl" and the
"antipasto" bowl. Both include various products, cooking
utensils, as well as
unique recipe cards, which come in a CD holder case that stands on the
kitchen counter. The products are all-natural, made from fresh
ingredients and mixed with the best spices to create the famous Thats A
NIce! flavor.
