thats a nice! Team – the new "SOPRANOS" of the gourmet food biz, now in 70 of the finest gourmet stores across the country.

Los Angeles CA - Joseph Anthony and Anthony Joseph are the friendliest Sicilians around, eager to make you an offer you can't refuse and join the Thats A Nice! family. The line of specialty gourmet southern italian foods is now available in 70 stores across the country and also in Canada. Joseph A. LoBue and Anthony J. Marciona, the Sicilian men behind Thats A Nice!, are quickly making a presence in the gourmet food world with a company only two years old.

President and founder, Joseph A. LoBue, began his career in the retail fashion business, as a buyer for Macy's and other department stores in juniors and young men's fashion. After a successful 18 year career, Joseph decided to open his own business. He used his background in advertising and marketing products to the public, and he had an idea for just the right products. His family came to New Orleans at the turn of the century, and migrated north, where they opened Northern Louisiana's first Italian restaurant. It was an immediate success, notably with pizza pie and the Muffaletta sandwich. Starting with the family's famous recipes, Joseph developed the first product, OLIVETTA, a sicilian olive mix used to make the Muffaletta, and launched the company. Also of Sicilian descent, Anthony J. Marciona began a career in show biz at the age of four, appearing in the film THE BROTHERHOOD with Kirk Douglas, and on Broadway in ZORBA THE GREEK. He later moved to Hollywood to continue his acting career, as well as pursue a career as a producer and entrepreneur. With an active career in entertainment, Anthony joined forces with Joseph. Together, the team developed additional products, design concepts and creative Brand ideas, as well as internet marketing, utilizing the website as a tool between retail shopping and the internet. Using a very personal hands-on approach, the team introduced the products themselves to various high end gourmet retailers. By meeting with buyers directly, retailers were re-introduced to the old-fashioned ethic of building a relationship with the stores from the ground up. The company quickly garnered numerous awards and praise, as well as orders. After rapid growth in gourmet markets from Beverly Hills to New York City, Thats A Nice! is a Gourmet Brand on the rise. They introduced the initial line of products in San Francisco at the king of Gourmet trade shows, the NASFT Fancy Food Show, making a hit with the locals and appearing on FOX-TV's Morning Show. The company made its east coast debut at the NYC NASFT Summer Fancy Food Show, locking in a few of the finer gourmet markets in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Known for gourmet flavors, creative packaging, online recipes and retail links, Thats A Nice! helps consumers become instant chefs and cook the southern italian way. Customers can go online and see recipes and other suggestions for products, as well as find retail stores where products may be purchased. OLIVETTA, the company's leading product, is perfect for salads, sandwiches and appetizers. The newest product, BACIO – a Sicilian "kiss of garlic" spread, is a non-dairy whipped garlic spread, excellent for grilling and sautéeing seafood, meats and vegetables, and to make garlic bread that is "to die for"! Other products include: the award-winning SUGO - sicilian marinara sauce, SUGO BOOM – spicy sicilian pasta sauce, SUGO VEGGIE - sautéed asparagus-mushroom pasta sauce and PRIMI PIATTI - first course in premium gourmet pasta. The products are all-natural, made from fresh ingredients and mixed with the best spices to create the famous Thats A NIce! flavor. The company also makes gift baskets: MANGIA BOWL and ANTIPASTO BOWL, in a stainless steel bowl or colander, which include various products, cooking utensils, and unique RECIPE CARDS in a CD case. THATS A NICE T is the shirt that says it all and what any fashion afficionado will be wearing this season.
